My student daughter had a small business in Texas during the summer, then attends college (and works) in Ohio during school year. Turbotax automatically included her Texas income on her Ohio return. How do I remove the Texas income?

As a nonresident, you only pay tax on Ohio source income, which includes earnings from work performed in Ohio.   You will calculate a base tax as if you were a full-year resident, then determine the percentage of your income that is subject to Ohio tax and the amount of tax apportioned to Ohio.

Thank you. I just can't figure out how to exclude it in TurboTax.

In the Ohio return, you will see the section where you indicate the Ohio amount (see below). @jctx
