For business use of automobile, is it possible to simply enter the number of business miles, or do I have to answer that whole slew of questions regarding the car etc.?

I just want to take the standard 0.67 per mile; do I have to figure out all of that other stuff, or is there some way to just enter the number of business miles?!

You have to answer all the questions. Much of the other information, including commuting miles and other miles, have to be shown on Schedule C in your tax return.
