Form 1120s schedule K1 not ready!

Why does the date for this form keep getting pushed back? i just want to get my personal taxes done already. The IRS has the form available why is it taking so long for it to be integrated with Turbotax online. It seems ridiculous its taking weeks for us small business owners to be able to file taxes.

I am aware... it has changed dates several times It was supposed to be ready the 14th. That is my point.

Not everything is within the control of TT.

All software forms must be approved by the IRS, so unfortunately, things take time.

The IRS already has everything available on their end... So why is TT behind? It went from 10th to 14th now 21st? It has never been like this in previous years.

I have to agree. H&R Block, Taxslayer all have had this form available for weeks. Very disappointed. As a long time TT user I will consider other platforms for next years' taxes as a result.

Hey TT, why not put your best team on preparing Form 1040 Schedule K1? The H&R block website indicates that they have the form ready for filing. Legislation aside, if other software can provide the form, why cant TT?

Looks like the date got pushed out again to 02/21.

The Schedule K-1 for a Form 1065 and a Form 1120S for tax year 2023 was updated today, 02/22/2024.

If you are using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions you need to update your software.

Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Check for Updates

Called on 2/12 & 2/27/24. The Response was it would be ready on 3/1/24! But the staff wasn't sure what form! this is bad. After 25 years of using TT I quit. It is ridiculous to wait 14 days before filing, and all other tax companies have their forms ready. There has got to be better software out there! Taxact is recommended by nerdwallet so, Taxact here I come.
