help: cannot file because of schedule C error: employee credits for small businesses

I have been using Turbotax self-employed Online for over 5-year. I have no any issue to file tax before. However, this year (2024),  at the review step, I get the Schedule C error message "we're updating employee credits for small businesses and farms, please check back with us XXX." (the check back date is always 1 week later when I check every day)

I've transmitted my return to an agent with token number 1186278. Please let me know if there is a solution to this.

Thank you

I've had the exact same issue and it's moved from the 24th, to the 28th, now it's March 3rd... How long is this going to linger? Such a disgrace.

This is the same issue I have, the date is always a week ahead, now it’s 3/3/24. When will this stop? I’m not sure I will ever use TurboTax again. I’m thinking of just going and paying someone to do them. This is outrageous and a waste of my time as a business owner.

I'm having the same issue as of today. Customer support could not figure it out, and this credit will not apply to me anyhow. I had today to get my taxes done and paid. Now I have a 60 hour work week, major home repairs next weekend, and then have to prepare my dad's taxes the weekend after that. This is ridiculous. There should be a work around for this.

Forms availability tool on intuit says form-8881, form-3468, and form-3800 will be ready on the 6th off march...   Not sure why turbo tax doesn't just say the 6th if they know it'll be available on the 6th.  Here's the link.

It’s pushed out to March and now I will have to pay more? Doesn’t seem fair to me

This is ridiculous, get it fixed or remove the error. The issue does not impact my return. Allow a bypass. This should not be holding up filing.

Here it is:

My name is Candace with Intuit's Office of the President. We received your inquiry regarding issues with Schedule C in Turbo Tax and I will be your Case Manager while we address your concerns.

We have been notified of the issues with the form and scheduled release difference. Our team is working with the engineers on when this will be released and if it can be expedited.

As soon as I have more information of the expectations of release, I will send the information to you as soon as possible. I do not have a direct phone number, however while we work to assist you, you can reach me by replying to this email thread. Thank you for reaching out to Intuit's Office of the President.

Respectfully,

Candace D.

Hi Candace:

I do not qualify for any special credit. So, you can have the issue fixed by asking questions of the users to see if they qualify for this potential credit that Congress may pass on March 1st. But, again even if it passes, I am not qualified to get it.

So, you are just holding me up from filing by not having more sophisticated software.

James Miles

I have done HandR Block for my taxes, for years... this is the first year I am trying Turbotax.....today it says COME BACK MARCH  5TH AFTER TELLING ME THIS SINCE JAN. 31st. I have never had to wait, guess I will be putting my information into H&R Block because the waiting is insane!

Happy waiting, everyone!

Bad first impression of TurboTax to say the least! 🙎

This TT is not the TT I have known.

This is only other example/symptom of Intuits pursuit or profit over customer value.  I was a quicken early adopter, then abandoned after to many SW updates that removed useful features.   Did Quickbooks, but its updates and subscription model  made me bail to a no drama replacement.  Still been using TT since early 2000's, hoping Intuit would not ruin TT.   I expect it is time look for another Tax SW new company with low overhead and intelligent non-greedy officers whose work ethics are aligned to customers like me/us.

I also need this solution ASAP.  Any help would be appreciated.
