How do I add schedule H to my tax return to report employment taxes that I paid?

You don't enter a Schedule H into TurboTax. When you enter your information about your household employee, TurboTax creates Schedule H as part of your tax return (or amended return) using the information that you enter.

 

IRS Schedule H relates to household employment taxes. Follow these steps to find it in TurboTax:

  1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
  2. Search for household employee taxes, sch h (use this exact term including the comma and space).
  3. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
  4. Answer Yes to Did You Have a Nanny or Household Employee? and follow the instructions.

Or Federal tab > Other Tax Situations > Nanny and Household Employee Tax, then Start.
