You can delete Schedule C from your Turbo Tax account in the delete forms section.

  • Open or log in to your TurboTax online return, if it's not already open.
  • In the upper right corner, click My Account > Tools.
  • In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
  • Scroll down and click Delete next to Schedule C and follow the instructions to remove the form.

The worker just needs 1099-NEC but Turotax has a bug to the worker submitting the schedule C Form, so stupid, I detected the schedule then Turotax is asking me, again I am a worker, not a self empolyee! A lot of people are blaming Turotax so stupid, Turotax wants to make more money for this bug! After I delete the schedule C form , how to re-run (effect) this change in a current tax return when I delete form schedule C? 2023 turbo tax is so unprofessional with lot of bugs inside that the customer suffered. waste my a lot of time. stupid!! No option for 1099-NEC worker to select , stupid software!!!

If you got a 1099NEC  you ARE self employed for it.  They didn't take any taxes out of your pay like Social Security and Medicare, so you have to file it on schedule C to pay the Self Employment tax for SS & Medicare.  And you can deduct your expenses.

Yes you are the owner of your own self employment business. You are in business for yourself. Use your own info. The people or company that pays you is your customer or client. You need to fill out schedule C for self employment business income. You are considered to have your own business for it. YOU are the business.

When you are self employed you are in business for yourself and the person or company that pays you is your customer or client.

To report your self employment income you will fill out schedule C in your personal 1040 tax return and pay SE self employment Tax. You can fill out Schedule C and enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to Premium version. Or buy any of the Desktop programs. All the Desktop programs have all the same forms, but you will get the most help in the Home & Business version.
