The license code is not used on the TurboTax online editions.

You purchased software to install on your personal computer. Use the license code to download the software at this TurboTax website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/

My computer will not download the Turbo Tax because it is too old. So I am stuck with the online TT which is fine however I already purchased the Turbo Tax Code from Sam's Club and opened it. So now I will not be able to use it?

If you cannot use the TurboTax software you purchased you should be able to get a refund from Sam's Club.
