Question

I am a 1099 insurance agent. I received $1000. for marketing from a company I represent. The marketing money is NOT included on the 1099-NEC form. Do I list the $1000. as General Business Income?

Yes. You can include that amount in Gross Receipts or Sales (line 1 of Schedule C).

Thank you for your reply. there is no Gross Receipts or Sales (line 1 of Schedule C).  I am on the General Business Income page.  If you have income from sales or services that was NOT REPORTED ON forms 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC enter it below.

Yes, you'll report the $1,000 as income not reported on Forms 1009-NEC.
