I am on line with turbotax. how can i see the actual forms as opposed to their user interface

Online TurboTax software does not have forms mode. Forms mode is a feature of the desktop download. With online, you can see your Form 1040 and schedules 1-3, but until you pay your fees you cannot print or see any of the other forms.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.

When using the TurboTax online web-based editions, there is no direct access to any of the forms or schedules. That feature is only available when using the TurboTax desktop editions installed on a personal computer with Forms mode.

However, you can view your Form 1040 plus Schedules 1, 2 and 3 at any time using the online editions. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
