I have a schedule D with stock information but I want to put in a sale of a timeshare and the Schedule D won't let me input the information and I can't overide - Help

Normal you use form 9747 and 8949 but those are not applicable. this is just a sale - why can't you override in the system? If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

The sale of your timeshare is reported on Schedule D for capital gains/losses.  See the following TurboTax help article for guidance about how to enter it into your return:

Even though the instructions are geared toward selling a second home, the process is the same to the point where you choose what was sold.
