I inadvertently answered our business was closed but we had income from it, how do I get back to add the business so it asks me the right questions?

To edit this information in TurboTax Online:

1. Select Tax Home in the left pane
2. On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Income & Expenses
3. Select Start, Pick up where you left off or Review/Edit, as appropriate
4. Scroll down and select the dropdown to the right of Self-Employment
5. Select  Edit, Edit/Add or Revisit to the right of Self-employment income and expenses
6. On the  Your 2023 self-employed work summary screen, select Edit beneath the relevant listed business
7. On the  Here's your [business] info screen, select Edit below Business summary
8. On the  Your [business] info screen, you'll see Edit links below Started work in 2023 and Stopped work in 2023.  Make any changes necessary using either of these links

If you’re self-employed and stopped doing this type of work, indicate that you stopped the business.  You'd also indicate you'd stopped the business if you owned the business and you:

•     Closed your business
•     Sold your business
•     Lost your business in a fire or other disaster or
•     Retired from your business
