Question

I work at a church ministry where they gave me a 1099NEC and in the form it is asking for an accounting method? I fill coffee pots. what should I do?

They are non profit and i fill coffee pots. they pay me $250 a month. tax form is asking for accounting method. they do direct deposit. so not sure what it is asking.

Use Cash as the accounting method.

Your accounting method would be the cash method of accounting.  This just means you count your money when you get it.
