Question

If I operated a personal business in 2024, but it was in another State, do I still qualify for the Ohio business deduction?

I operated a rideshare business in NV for 4 months of 2024. Then I moved to Ohio (in April 2024). While I operated a personal business in 2024, it was not in Ohio. Do I qualify for the Ohio business deduction? Thank you!

Yes. Any individual with any business income is eligible to claim the deduction, regardless of residency status or where the income is earned.
