im in turbo tax business and i need to file a 1041. THe only options it has me select is im self employed or its a small business. What should i do?

An IRS Form 1041, U.S. Income Tax Return for Estates and Trusts is only available in the stand-alone TurboTax Business Edition,  The Business Edition can only be installed on a Windows based personal computer.  The Business Edition cannot be used for a personal tax return, Form 1040.

Home & Business is only for personal returns that need Schedule C for self employment or sole proprietors.

You will need Turbo Tax Business for Windows.   It is not available to do online or on a Mac.  And it will not do your personal 1040 return.  You can have both Turbo Tax Business and a personal version (like Home & Business) installed at the same time.
