I would like to know why if my refund was supposed to be 829 I only received 397.32 from a company called TBG. I didn't know that I was using a third party. Please answer why this company charged me $420 that is more than I received. I guess I won't be using intuit/turbotax anymore. This is thief of a hard working man's money.  How many other people have been cheated out of 1/2 their refund? I would like to know.

The IRS and State Governments have the ability to offset a refund to pay for certain past due debts.  You generally will receive a letter stating what the offset was for.

The IRS provides a toll-free number, (800) 304-3107, to call for information about tax offsets.

Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund.

Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund:
When will I get my federal tax refund?
How do I track my state refund?
Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"?
