Question

Sold my house in 2024....

Hi guys,

 

Quick question. I have just completed the part of my 2024 tax return related to the sale of my condo. 

Now, in the "Deductions and Credits" section, TTX  Premier is asking whether I owned a home in 2024. 

I did own it for 7 months, but not for the entire year. What should I answer?

    Answer yes.  And then it will have you enter the taxes and interest that you paid on the condo before you sold it to see if that qualifies you for itemized deductions.
