I applied to close my single member llc in Dec. 2024. Received certification of disolution and paid final tax in Feb 2025. No other activity during this period.

Can I file my final tax return now? Or should I still file the final tax return next year in 2026?

Since you received interest from your CD and made a final tax payment during 2025, you should wait and file the last return in 2026.  For more information visit the following links for both IRS and TurboTax information on closing a business:

Thank you for your reply.

The CD here I mean is the document of certification of dissolution. The only transition in 2025 is paid 2024 tax. So I still need to file in 2026 for 2025 as final tax return?

so for now, the company status, I still need to say it is normal in process for 2024, right?

Yes, you will report the dissolution of the company in next year's tax return for 2025.  For 2024, the company is still considered active and still in business.
