Others have been complaining about this problem for years. Is it really that hard for turbo tax to add Tennessee to the state list? I'm using the app and it's flagging box 15 as needing info. We need to enter TN. It is not blank on our W-2, and as others have said, Florida and other states with no income tax are available as options. I can not manually enter a state on the app as there is no option to type anything in on the form. This is a needless hassle for people paying for Turbo Tax.

Several states do not have a state income tax. So these states will not show up in certain drop down lists. Leave boxes 15, 16, and 17 blank when you enter a W-2 for these states.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming
