Where is the income that a partnership makes reported on Form 1065?

For a partnership, Income (loss) is reported on Form 1065 Lines 1 - 8. This section includes Ordinary Income, Farm profit/loss and Investment Sales (Form 4797).

Income and expenses allocated to the partners is shown on Form 1065 Schedule K (pg5). This section also reports Rental Income, Guaranteed Payments, and other income types.

The income allocations are reported on Schedule K-1 for each partner.
