Is New York State e-filing free with the 2024 mac download version of Turbo Tax Deluxe?

Yes---it is always free to e-file a New York State return---New York is the only state for which that is true. For any other state, if you are using the desktop download there is a fee of $20 to e-file a state return, which increases to $25 by March 1.
