Credit Inquiries too high?

Hi, 21-year-old trying to slowly build up my credit score. I want to apply for a credit card to help with this, but I have 7 credit inquiries, which Turbo doesn't like and is recommending I don't push it much further. Thing is, 6 of the 7 are all from Dec 2017 when I bought my current car. It feels a little ridiculous that I have so many from a single instance, so is there any way to dispute all these inquiries, or at least collapse them into 1-2 instead of 6?

call the credit card company and explain the situation BEFORE you apply for the card.   if you permit the financial insitutiton to 'pull' credit, it'll get reported.

Is your score acceptable even with all the inquiries?  it may not matter

they should automatically fall of after 2 years
