My credit score took a big hit because my work n the 3rd party they used to make the payments to the Attorney Generals office, we’re not making the payments. This was two years ago. My score went from 735 to 635. How can I get my score back?

Hmm.. that’s an interesting one. I’d probably start by calling that company that messed up those payments you mention and ask for some sort of letter explaining what happened (saying that they are at fault).

Then I’d give the credit companies a call, explaining the situation, and hopefully they will accept the letter. You will probably also need to call the attorneys general office you mention, and maybe send them the letter too.

I’ve never done something like that, but that’s how I’d start. Good luck and let us know how it goes by posting here?
