Hard Inquiry Type - Contractors

Follow my story here.  In Turbo, I have a hard inquiry that has shown up for an old account that I closed (i.e. no money in it for almost a year).    Looks like it was actually hit twice in the same day.

Turbo gives the type associated with the unknown inquiry, which is "Contractors".  What does the type mean?  

This inquiry has not shown up in creditkarma and the scores are different (both Transunion).  CK shows an inquiry from a year ago for my car which does not show up in Turbo.  Any explanation as to why Transunion is different between the two?  Yes I put a credit fraud alert on; not a freeze yet, but an alert.  Thanks!
