How to consolidate all medical bills, to a small lump sum, to pay off completely

First, do you really want to do this?  What interest would you pay on the loan, and is it more than the interest on the medical bills?  If the interest on the medical bills is lower, you might just want to keep paying them.  Second, if you owe a lot and are past due, it would not hurt to call the medical providers and ask if they would give you a discount if you paid in full immediately.  (They might reduce your bill if you promise to pay in full all at once.  Or they might not.)  Then when you know what your balances are, go to a bank and ask for a loan.  You will probably get better service from a smaller local bank or credit union instead of a large national bank, but try all the options to get the best rate.
