I am in bankruptcy and my student loan payments are supposed to be deferred. There is a report showing I have 4 delinquent payments over 90 days old. Why is this there ?

See these two articles.  Not all loans qualify for automatic forbearance, if your lender is one that does not qualify for automatic forbearance, you have to contact them before you stop making payments.

First, check all 3 credit reports at www.annualcreditreport.com to see if the payments are reported as missed on all 3 reports or just one.  Then, contact the lender directly.  If the lender doesn't help, there is an appeal process directly with the credit bureau.
