Does TurboTax automatically transfer unclaimed medical expenses entered for the next year in the same way Charitable donations do?

When optimizing Turbo tax doesn't seem to indicate that it will transfer unused medical expenses to the next year and that you have to delete the entries and re-enter them the following year. Am I correct?

You will need to manually delete your unclaimed medical expense entries and re-enter them next year.
However, be aware that medical expenses must be claimed within a 12-month period that ends in the current tax year.
