Taxes paid in US (Federal and State), can I take tax credit on Provincial (Ontario)?

    When you apply for the Federal Foreign Tax Credit, then that information will go to your provincial return. If you are eligible, you will get the credit. 

     

    To claim the Foreign Tax Credit, click on Find (magnifying glass) in the top right-hand corner. Type "for" in the box, then select "Foreign Tax Credit" from the list and click “Go”.
