Turbotax isn't allowing my spouse to claim my unused charitable donations from previous years. This should be allowed.

Tax laws change every year so it is important to read the most up to date information. 

As per TurboTax, donations can be carried forward for up to five years. If claiming your donations will not affect your balance owing or refund due to low income or due to claiming other deductions, you can transfer your all or some of your donations to your spouse. TurboTax Deluxe will optimize the use of donations for you.
