Hello!
I’m working at paying down all of our credit cards, and was wondering if there are any legitimate companies that truly help consolidate as I pay down. Most articles I’ve read say not to use them. The interest rates are the worst part!

You may be able to transfer debt to a single card with the lowest interest rate. Sometimes there are fees for this, but it is up to each individual lender and there are often periods where it is offered for free with lowered interest on the transferred amounts.

Another option is talking to your bank directly. They could potentially offer you a personal loan with a lower interest rate than any of your cards, and there are stricter regulations on them than an internet only lender.
