Is it beneficial to my credit for me to get a loan big enough to cover my student loans and all other debts? I should be able to get a better apr

While it could very well be beneficial to you in terms of a lower APR, it will probably have a negligible impact on your credit score since you are consolidating rather than reducing your level of debt.
