Question

1099-DIV says "Foreign Tax Paid" and "Various" but Turbotax stops at "Enter State" - how do I get past this?

choices: select state, more than one state, 1099 does not list a state. No state involved here. The amount is listed on line 7 and line 12.

Since the Form 1099-Div says "Various" you should choose "Multiple States".

And "Multiple states" is the last state selection on the pull-down list if you select the first bullet point.

Yeah, technically it is not "one" state.
