Question

As a permanent resident alien I earned foreign income and paid tax in South Africa while working remotely from USA on a fixed term contract. What steps to I take?

I don't want to exclude the income but do want to get credit for the tax already paid. Turbo Tax seems to not allow me to take this route.

    You will enter the information in the Foreign Tax Credit in the Deductions & Credits section.
