business expense for charitable contribution

My worksheet shows a charitable business expense of $40,095.  I have made no contribution/s/ or entries.  I tried to update/edit but the number is there and cannot be edited/deleted.  How do I get rid of it?

Can you clarify where you are seeing these charitable contributions for your business?  

Are you preparing a business return or is this for a self-employed business?

 

If this is for an individual return, please see this link for guidance on how to get to the charitable contribution section of the program.

 

Once you reach the charitable contribution, select update/start depending upon what section the donation is appearing in.

 

 

Then, select delete for the applicable deduction that does not apply to remove it.
