can I carry over a deduction from a previous year?

I have a 13k credit from 2022, I have not filed 2023 or 2024. How do I carry this over to one of those years?

Please clarify your question by adding some additional information so we may better help you. Such as: What version of TurboTax are you using? What credit/deduction are you looking to carry forward? Are you filing a tax return for 2023 and 2024?

The solar tax credit. I pretty much know that it's possible, I just don't know how with TurboTax.

You'd think there was a link for it I your deduction, but there is not.

On your 2023 return, when you're in the Deductions and Credits section, click Start or Update next to Home Energy credits. You'll be asked several questions about the property and your expenses.

When you get to the screen asking about a 2022 carryforward, say yes. (This screenshot is from 2024 program, so it references 2023. You first need to do this in 2023 and then carryforward any excess to 2024.)
