Can I change the field that says "AMT dep allowed/allowable" in regards to my car & truck expenses worksheet? It's not letting me

When reviewing my state taxes, it says I need to review a line on my car & truck expenses but I can't edit it, the window doesn't let me edit the number I put in, can you help?

Maybe. Some states have a different way of handling things. This might be an issue you can fix in the federal section or it may be specific to the state. Do you have AMT so that your depreciation for AMT is different than regular depreciation? Which state? Are you using desktop or online?

Hi and thanks. I did fix it in the federal section and now it’s not updating my CA state section, do I have to wait? It’s just regular depreciation. I’m in CA. Online. Thanks for responding
