Question

Can I complete my return without putting in a mortgage lender? it keeps asking for one after my final review, but I have no mortgage. I took the standard deduction.

    Yes, you can delete the empty 1098 form that is causing the error.   Look for a form titled Home Int Wkst (lender name).   Once you delete that form(s), you will be able to proceed with preparing and filing your return.
