    Per IRS Publication 502, medical care expenses include payments for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease, or payments for treatments affecting any structure or function of the body.  If you visit the link above, you can see a complete list of all the deductible medical expenses.  

     

    Remember that to deduct medical expenses, you have to itemize your deductions instead of taking the Standard Deduction.
