Can I deduct medicare premiums I paid out of pocket? I am covered by medicare but I do not take my social security yet.

    Yes, if you can itemize your deductions you can use the amount you pay for medicare. 

    • Medical expenses must be greater than 7.5% of your income and only the excess will be used for your medical expense part of itemized deductions.
