Question

Can I return to the property taxes page and make corrections?

I added taxes paid for my car but they were paid on january 1 of this year. Now I want to go back and correct this by deleting the taxes I paid.

You can revisit the section where you entered the registration fees/property taxes for your car by following steps:

 

  1. In TurboTax Online, open your tax return
  2. Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Deductions & Credits
  3. Navigate to the list of Deductions & Credits
  4. Locate the section Cars and Other Things you Own and click on the arrow on the right 
  5. Click Start next to Car Registration fees.
