In prior years I had a business to which I was self-employed. I removed that last year. This year's review flagged Schedule E as having no entry. It has no entry because I have no business and hence no mileage. How do I convince TT of this?

You will need to delete the Schedule E or Schedule C. After deleting them, log out of TurboTax, clear your cache and cookies and then go back in to TurboTax.

If you are using the desktop version you can go to forms mode and click on the delete button.

From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu titled “Tools Center,” select Delete a Form
This will show all of the forms in your return
Scroll down to the form you want to delete
Select the Form
Click on Delete.

Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return.  There could be unintended consequences.
