Child care expense

Hello,

I'd already filed my taxes for the taxation year of 2024. I noticed that the amount claimed on my tax return for my child expense (one child) is higher by $75.00 than my receipts. It won't have any impact on my return in terms of owing or getting more refund since my child expense amount is well above the maximum amount of $3000.00 permitted per dependent.  Do I have to amend my return? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Abdullah

No.

As your child care deduction is limited to $3,000 for one child, this error has no effect on your tax liability.
