I transferred the clean vehicle credit to the dealership and got a leader from the IRS saying I need to fill out form 8936 and schedule A. While doing my taxes on TurboTax, I filled out the part about transferring the credit to the dealership. Do I have to fill out the form 8936 and schedule A myself or does TurboTax do it for me?

No, if you completed the interview, TurboTax will automatically generates both forms.

Clean vehicle credit calculated on form 8936 goes on Schedule 3 and then transfer with other non-refundable credits to form 1040 line 20.

To Preview schedule 3 and form 1040 in TurboTax online:

From the left sidebar

Select Tax tools
Select Tools
Select View tax summary from the popup menu
From the left panel click Preview my 1040
Scroll to the very bottom to see Schedule 3
