Question

Clients pay me for my labor and for supplies that I have purchased for them. How do I enter inc from labor, inc from materials, and expenses for materials on turbotax?

For self employment income on a schedule C you enter the total gross income you received (including the product, parts or reimbursements) and then enter all your expenses.  Materials, product and parts would probably be entered as Supplies. Or you can use line 27a Other Expenses.

You can not expense your labor.  That will be the net Profit or Loss on Schedule C.

You can enter Self Employment Income into Online Deluxe but if you have any expenses you will have to upgrade to Premium version. Or use any of the Desktop CD/Download programs. You can buy the Desktop Download program here,

This is self employment income. Any expenses for materials can be used as an expense for supplies. That portion of the payment is an expense and not income to you. Follow the steps in the link below to report your self employment income and expenses.
