I took out one Nov 24, and never received a 1098. The bank said there won't be one. However quick research says I'm entitled to be able to deduct my points/loan origination fee, and taxes. How/where do I enter that without a 1098?

Yes, you should be able to enter this information in Turbo Tax. To enter Enter Mortgage Interest & Points In TurboTax, go to:

    1. Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Your Home
    2. Select Mortgage Interest, Refinancing, and Insurance
    3. In the first screen that appears, it will ask you how much property taxes were paid.  You can enter the amount.  Leave all the other boxes blank, except for the mortgage origination date, which is November 24, 2024.
    4. After you enter this information, There will be a screen asking about points. Here you you will need to add details about the loan and points. Be sure you indicate that these points were to buy or improve your main home so that the full value of these points are deductible for 2024.
