Contradictory statements by TurboTax on "Other Taxes Paid"

In Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits > Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

there is a line item "Other Income Taxes".

TurboTax is showing a large number here and we were wondering where the number came from. If we click on "Learn More" next to "Other Income Taxes," the explanation says that the line item does NOT include taxes paid and reported on a W-2 or 1099." (Note the quotation marks)

HOWEVER,

if we click on the actual number, the pop-up explanation specifically says "This includes amounts from your W-2s and 1099s." (Again, note the quotation marks)

This is contradictory.

The numbers do indeed seem to include taxes paid through W-2s and 1099s, which means they are NOT "other income taxes" and should not appear here. This is an import error by TurboTax. Correct?

    @jkf47

    MY Learn More on Desktop Premier Windows says that it "Includes":

    "-State and local taxes that were withheld during 2024 but not reported on Form W-2, 1099, W-2G, etc.

    For example, state and local taxes that were withheld when you completed a real estate transaction."

    If yours is the same....re-read it again.

    ....i.e.  The number may include some other taxes that were not shown on your w-2 or other primary tax forms.

    It doesn't say that the withholding form the W-2..etc... isn't included....it's just saying other withholding amounts may also be included in that "Other" total...then gives an example where some of it might come from.

     Yeah, maybe they need to reword it.
