Donation to a Michigan University

I made a $2000 donation to a Michigan Public University.  I believe Michigan allows a tax deduction, but I don't see how to get Turbotax to change my taxes for the donation I entered.  It only shows as a donation on Federal.

    I am going to assume that you mean a Michigan Education Trust donation. The deduction is on Schedule 1, line 18. Follow these steps for entry:

    1. Open the MI return, 
    2. continue to income MI handles differently,
    3. select MI Education Trust Plans
    4. enter charitable donation
