New to Etsy.  Didn't make enough income to receive 1099K.  Want to include the income in my taxes to show that I am trying to run a business and not just a hobby.  Do I still list it as 1099K income or put it in as general income?  If i list it as 1099K income, where do I get the information to fill in the blanks?

You can enter ‌income  based on any cash (credit card) or checks you received as self-employment income on Schedule C.

Income

  1. Open or continue your return. Be sure you are logged in for the link in Step 2 to work.
  2. Go to Schedule C or search in the magnifying glass at the top right of screen and type Schedule C, then select on the jump link.
  3. Answer the questions about your business and its expenses until you get to the Here’s your info screen.
    • If you’re returning to Schedule C, select Review or Edit next to your work and then answer the questions about your business.
  4. Select Add income for this work.
  5. On the Let's enter the income for your Work screen, select Other self-employed income, includes cash and checks
  6.  Continue through the questions to complete your schedule C.
