Ev credit

If i only used $3,500 out of the $7,500 of the ev credit at the dealership. How do I submit for the remaining credit?

You do that in the Deduction and Credits section of TurboTax, then Cars and Other Things you Own, then Energy-Efficient Vehicles. Find the screen that says  Did you transfer the credit to the dealer at the time of sale? You will see where you can enter the amount of the credit you transferred, and the balance will be available, to the extent it is allowed,  to you on your tax return.
