Final check fails on From 1116

Final check tells me it found 1 error.
It takes me to Form 1116 and says, "Line 33 should be blank."
Like 33 is blank, there is nothing there.   Why is it not letting me move on?

    If your Form 1116 is causing you to fail the final check, first try logging out of the program and logging back in. You can also clear your cache and cookies.

    You may also try using another browser.

     

    Also, make sure that all updates have been run for your TurboTax program.  Click here for information on manually updating TurboTax.

     

    If that does not resolve your issue you can go back to your TurboTax screens regarding your Foreign Tax Credit and check that your answers are correct. ‌

     

    To do this, you can:

     

    1. Click on the search icon at the top right of your TurboTax screen
    2. Type "foreign tax credit" in the search box
    3. Click on the link "Jump to foreign tax credit"

     

    You can also try deleting Form 1116 and then going back to the foreign tax credit section and completing it again. 

     

    To remove Form 1116 if you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:

     

    1. Click on "Forms" in the upper right of your TurboTax screen to switch to "Forms Mode"
    2. In your left panel "Forms in My Return",  scroll down to Form 1116
    3. Click on "Delete Form" near the bottom left of Form 116 that displays in the right panel of your TurboTax screen\
    4. A box will appear confirming you want to delete the form, select "Yes"

    To remove Form 1116 if you are using TurboTax Online, you can:

    1. Open/Continue your tax return
    2. In your left panel of your TurboTax screen click on "Tax Tools" and then "Tools"
    3. In your "Tools Center" box scroll down to "Delete a Form"
    4. Scroll down to Form 1116 and select "Delete"

     

    Your screens will look something like this to go back to your foreign tax credit screens.
