Foreign interest income without a FEIN

How do i enter foreign interest income without FEIN because foreign banks do not issue form 1099-INT

You can try entering 99-0999999. This has been successful this year. If this doesn't work, then enter this in the following manner.

Log into your account
Select Wages and income
Less Common income
Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099>start
Scroll to the bottom of the page to Other Reportable Income
Other taxable income, answer yes
Then give a brief description of the income and the amount listed.. list this as Foreign Interest and then the amount of the interest.
